Ada has really been resistant to shoes these days- They make it hard to walk, but today we got some water slip ons at Target and she loves them. They make noise when she walks so she runs around the house stomping her feet. She has had some play dates this week and tomorrow she goes to the pediatric opthamologist to get her right drippy eye checked and hopefully fixed. She has become porky pig lately eating whatever is in site and today she will play in the backyard sprinkler with Pilar her babysitter- it is 102 degrees and only 1pm. Too hot- ada can say the word HOT also. See you soon-

Ada hits the Zoo

Today Ada and I hit the zoo for the first time... It does not even compare to the Milwaukee Zoo, but was still fun. She saw monkeys, gorilla's, bears camels, and a lion along with many other creatures. She liked riding on the train and also riding in Lily and Sara's wagon like a big girl. Totally crashed when we got home and was pretty well behaved except for a temper tantrum she had when she could not play in the water fountain. She is a water addict. The weekend

Well we had a fun weekend. Saturday Ada and I hit the Farmers market with Liz, although there weren't many fruits and veggies ready yet. Nice crafts and music. Ada saw tons of dogs and we found out some information about a school Ada might attend when she's older. Then we came home and had a nap- her nap schedule is changing to one long afternoon. I am going to try and stop that this week and go back to two naps b/c in the late afternoon she is a bear and goes to bed too early which means she wakes too early for mom! Latr night we tried covering her windows with thick blankets and it did not matter- 5:45 am! Sunday we went the the Arts fest- Ada was playing in the wading fountain and absolutely loved it- she is a water baby for sure- will love grandma's lake! Then Ada went to a neighborhood BBQ and was the hit of the party- Everyone loves her and thinks she is soooo cute! Tom even got out of all diaper changes as everyone wanted to help out with her. Another week gone by....

Fathers day was fun for Tom, new dad... We started out up at Snowbird ski resort where we got a room and took Ada swimming. She loves to jump off the first step inthe pool and trusts she will always be caught! I rode the alpine slide. Then Tom went climbing for fathers day with bud Daniel, who also escaped his new baby Anika. The new pics are of Ada in her new rocker from Mike and Liz- and a pic of her and sophie watching baby einstein together. She's cutting teeth and has not been the happiest. Today we are going to the pool and taking a bike ride to the bank. I have been working a ton and am going to get a few days off in a row soon so if anyone has an idea where I can take a cheap trip let me know 'cause I am dying to skip town-
