Well mom and dad pulled it off...Ada's first party with about 30 kids and adults in attendance. The afternoon started great and of course Mike and Liz were the first to arrive and awaken Ada from her nap in time to party. She wasn't thrilled about waking but adjusted as friends started to show up! Mom had difficulty baking the pizza in my new small wall oven and the fire alarm sounding loudly, but eventually we got the pizza baked and all were happy. Ada got lots of new toys, including a radio flyer tricycle, a dump truck, new animal flash cards, animal sounding blocks and a few cute outfits. Ada was a little overstimulated but when happy birthday started up she smiled and enjoyed her Elmo cake. She also got a spanish bilinguial elmo doll from our friend Quino-aka Higini Gonzalez, who is off to Pakistan for a 2 mo. mountaineering expedition- we wish him well and pray for his safety...
From mom and dad she got a new kangaroo climber- dad was thrilled she could climb up the slide, a true slab climber. All is well and the house is clean and I am off to bed- cheers Enjoy the pics...Our new dining room set is included.

It was a great party guys. We had a lot of fun. I can't wait until Anika gets old enough to appreciate such shenanigans. It was also fun to see so many other kids. I think my lips are still pink from that cake! Ada should have lots of fun with all of her presents.
